Solubility:  Easily soluble in methanol, ethanol, isopropanol, chloroform, DMF, DMSO.   Slightly soluble in benzene, toluene. Barely soluble in water, n-hexane.

Application:  DOPO is generally used as a reactive flame retarder or intermediate of producing other flame retardants. It is environment friendly so that it can substitute those halogenated flame retardants.
Especially it is used as Flame Retardant for epoxy resin in PCB, Polyester Fiber Fabrics, and etc.
